Kotor

Medieval Kotor is a Unesco World Heritage Site in the deepest part of the fjord, about 20 minutes away by car or bus. The beautiful Old Town remains encircled by walls which can be viewed by climbing the path to the old fortifications high on the mountainside above. It is also fun to wander the mazy streets which are the focus of night-time entertainment with many coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Perast

The apartment directly faces this fantastically preserved old town across the bay. The parish Church of St Nilkola and the elegant Bujovic Palace, which houses the Perast Museum, are the main sights. Again there are wonderful views from the waterfront and two good restaurants, the Vila Milinovic and the Amfora.

Beaches

The pristine sandy beach at Plavi Horizonto (Przno) is 15km drive, set in a beautiful olive grove and surrounded by pine forest. Further down the coast is the lively seaside town of Budva, Montenegro's main tourist centre.
